I’m clueless, confused, fat, pissed off, and want results right now! Sound familiar? You came to the right place if you want to feel sexier than ever, but hate following rules.
Help! You’re likely freaking out. I get it. This is the only page that you need to bookmark and come back to.
You want to be in amazing shape. You’re tired of eating like crap. You don’t want to look like crap. You don’t want to be embarrassed when you see a photo of you being tagged on Facebook. You want to have all eyes on you when you enter a room. You don’t want to wear a shirt to the beach.
What should I do first?
Calm the fuck down!
It’s not the end of the world. Just the fact that you’re reading this means that you have access to resources and the ability to make things happen. It also means that you’re ready to finally do something. Good for you.
Second of all, it’s time to slowly make changes. The goal isn’t perfection. The goal is to get a little better every day slowly. I’m not perfect, but I’m working towards my goals. I want us to get a little better every single day. We may never get to perfection, but we will look and feel better.
Finally, you should grow up and try taking our 30 days no alcohol challenge. I was sick of always feeling bloated, hungover, mood swings, and being useless. So I decided to not drink for a month. It was the best decision of my life. This will help you with your fitness goals right off the bat. Success is the child of boldness. You might want to stop doing the same crap over and over again.
The best part? You can add booze back to your life once you complete the challenge. Hopefully you don’t get as messed up as I did and ruin — I’ll stop there!
The steps below will help you out if you’re freaking out.
I’m fat and lazy. I need to get moving.
Get a work out in. Get a quick pump in. You’re lucky because I also hate most fitness rules. I’m not going to throw some random routine at you of 45 exercises with different types of sets. Screw that! The world is your gym.
You don’t have to spend money on a gym membership like I do (I love my MMA classes too much). You can treat this whole planet as your personal gym.
Hit the park to train if you’re looking to get started. Hit some bodyweight squats, do some pullups, bust out pushups and finish up with sprints. Do this until you’re tired.
No park around you? Then do this in your home! Spend $30 on a damn kettlebell and start swinging in your basement. Do anything.
See what the experts have to say about their favorite bodyweight exercises. There are a million exercises and things you can do before you even get near a gym.
If you’re willing to join a gym, then hit those squats, deadlifts, and pullups.
Just get moving. Those 20 pushups you do today are better than the nothing you did yesterday!
My eating sucks. I need to stop eating fast food. Help!
I hear you on this one. I’m a sucker for vodka, poutine, and some pizza.
Here’s what’s going to happen…
I want you to change one thing about the way you eat.
I wrote about how I went from loving breakfast to skipping it. I also tried eating like a vegan for a week (didn’t work out too well). See what works for you. Try something new. Try replacing something. Try adding more protein into your day. Try chugging more water.
You already know what’s bad for you. Why kid yourself?
The whole goal of this site is unconventional living, eating, and training. If that sounds appealing to you, then you might want to consider intermittent fasting. I skip breakfast, hit the gym, and then load up on protein in the afternoon.
I love chocolate! Is there any good news?
Hell yeah! We’re all about cheating on here. Infidelity to the max.
I wrote a COLOSSAL piece on the epic cheat day. If you’re like me and can’t say no to your old romance (pizza for me), then you need to get into the habit of the cheat day. I try to be a good boy all week. When Saturday comes, I snap, load up on my food vices (add some chips in there), and let things get nasty. Then I go back to being a good boy.
Before we go our separate ways…
You can continue being boring or you can push yourself with a challenge. We’re all about challenges on here. Any little bitch can keep on keeping on for the best. You’re not like that. You’re ready to grab life by the balls and see some real progress.
What challenge will you try?
If you want to read some of the best articles on here, I suggest starting with the START HERE page. That will give you all of the tools that you need to treat the world like your gym, feel amazing, work towards the sexiest body you’ve ever had.
“During my 18 years I came to bat almost 10,000 times. I struck out about 1,700 times and walked maybe 1,800 times. You figure a ballplayer will average about 500 at bats a season. That means I played seven years without ever hitting the ball.” – Mickey Mantle
